Innovative Design with Stealth Flow Port: The Olympica II features Sonus Faber’s unique “paralaminar stealth flow” port, a side-firing chamber running the length of the cabinet, elegantly accented by a perforated chromed aluminum bar. Lyre-Shaped Cabinet for Acoustics and Elegance: The irregular lyre shape of the cabinet minimizes internal standing waves and improves sound clarity. Unlike conventional teardrop or boxy designs, the complex geometry contributes to superior acoustics while offering a striking visual appeal.
Premium Materials and Construction: Built for rigidity and resonance control, the front baffle is crafted from pressed plywood instead of MDF, while the top and bottom panels are made from solid walnut for added durability. The slight backward tilt of the cabinet aids in precise time alignment for optimal sound staging.
Custom Drivers for Refined Sound:
A 29mm ‘Arrow Point’ silk tweeter with Damped Apex Dome technology combines the benefits of dome and ring-radiator designs for extended, natural high frequencies.
A 150mm midrange driver with an organic composite cone and aluminum phase plug ensures a smooth, detailed midrange performance.
A 180mm woofer, featuring a cellulose and synthetic foam sandwich design, delivers controlled and impactful bass.
